Account Wallet & Gift Card Policy

General

By using Account Wallet or Gift Cards you agree to comply with this Policy, and not to use Gift Cards in any manner that is misleading, deceptive, unfair, or otherwise harmful to Alphacty Inc. or its customers.

This Account Wallet & Gift Card Policy may be updated at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

Account Wallet

Account Wallet is a tool that allows you to store funds that you can use to purchase products and services on alphacty.us (the “Site”), the mobile application Alphacty (the “App”), other websites or apps of Alphacty Inc. and other websites or apps that have respective agreement with Alphacty Inc. (the “Partner Site” or “Partner App”).

You must be at least 18 years old and have an active account at the Site / App in order to be able to use the Account Wallet. If you are under 18, you may use the Account Wallet only with involvement of a parent or guardian.

Withdrawals from Account Wallet are not allowed. You can fund your Account Wallet by redeeming the Gift Card.

Eligible goods and services for purchase using Account Wallet Balance are subject to change in Alphacty Inc. and Partner Sites / Apps sole discretion.

You can view your Account Wallet Balance, fund your Account Wallet, view your Account Wallet transactions at My Account > Wallet. 

Your Account Wallet Balance cannot be used to purchase Gift Cards.

Gift Cards

Gift Card is a prepaid card issued by Alphacty Inc. that can be used for paying for goods and services on the Site or App and to fund the Account Wallet Balance.

Eligible goods and services for purchase using Gift Cards are subject to change in Alphacty Inc. sole discretion.

When you purchase the product(s) using the Gift Card

  • The Gift Card Balance is used entirely if the Order Value is higher or equal to the Gift Card Balance;
  • The Gift Card Balance is reduced by the Order Value if the Gift Card Balance is higher than the Order Value.

When you fund the Account Wallet with the Gift Card the Gift Card Balance is used entirely and the Account Wallet Balance is increased by the Gift Card Balance.

Restrictions

You cannot:

  • Sell or exchange Gift Cards for cash or for any other prepaid payment instrument;
  • Use Gift Cards for payments outside of the Site or App;
  • Use Gift Cards for unauthorised advertising, marketing, sweepstakes, promotional or commercial purposes;
  • Redeem Gift Cards for more that face value;
  • Transfer Gift Cards for value;
  • Redeem Gift Cards for cash;
  • Return Gift Cards for a refund (except if required by law);
  • Use Gift Cards to purchase other gift cards;
  • Use Gift Cards if you are not intended recipient;
  • Use Gift Cards for any illegal activity.

Fraud Prevention and Account Security

We reserve the right, without notice to you, to suspend, limit, or close Account Wallet or Gift Cards without refund and void or reverse transactions, suspend or terminate customer accounts, suspend or terminate the ability to use our services, cancel or limit orders, and bill alternative forms of payment if we suspect fraud, abuse, unlawful activity or policy violations. We may require identity verification, order verification or proof of payment before enabling Account Wallet use or reissuing Gift Cards.

Lost, Stolen, or Compromised Account Wallet or Gift Cards

The risk of loss and title for Gift Cards pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission of the Gift Card to the purchaser or designated recipient. You are responsible for safeguarding your Account Wallet or Gift Cards from unauthorized use. Alphacty Inc. is not responsible if any Gift Card is lost, stolen, or destroyed, or if your Account Wallet or any Gift Card is used without your permission.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO GIFT CARDS OR ACCOUNT WALLET, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, IN THE EVENT A GIFT CARD IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, WILL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF THAT GIFT CARD.

Disputes

Any dispute or claim relating in any way to Gift Cards or your Account Wallet will be resolved by the dispute resolution terms in the Terms of Service.
